TEHRANTIMES - Foolad coach Dragan Skocic is the main candidate to take over Sepahan job, provided that the Khouzestani club let him go, Iranian media reported.
Skocic who joined Foolad in 2014 is under fire due to his poor results in this season. His team is currently one place above the bottom of the table with just six points from 11 games.
Sepahan is currently without a head coach after Hossein Faraki parted company with them last week. The Isfahani club has negotiated with Skocic who has signed a two-year contact with Foolad in summer.
If Skocic joins Sepahan, this will be the second time he replaces Faraki. Skocic signed with Foolad in 2014 after Faraki led them to Iran Professional League title in 2013-14 season.
Croatian coach Igor Stimac and former Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei are among the candidates to replace Faraki.
Last season champions Sepahan is currently stands in 6th place with 17 points from 11 games.
