Suwon is the first Korea Republic team the Iranians have faced since they lost to Seongnam Ilhwa in the final of the 2010 tournament in Tokyo.
"The game against Seongnam is history now," said Ebrahimzadeh who preferred to talk about how his team eliminated then-champions Pohang Steelers at the quarter-final stage last year.
"We played well in Pohang's stadium. The difference is this time that we play in Suwon first and then go to Iran but apart from that, the situation is the same.
"We met two K-league teams last year and we learned from that experience and we know what to expect from Korea Republic teams. We will have to be at our best to win but our players have the experience of going all the way to the final."
The visitors are under no illusions about the challenge Suwon, who defeated Seongnam 3-2 in the K-League on Friday, will present.
"Suwon is in the top four of the K-League and they are a good team," added Ebrahimzadeh.
"We watched their game with Seongnam last week and they put on a good performance. They are strong defensively and offensively and are well-organised. We will do our best to get a good result."
Suwon are unbeaten in their last 26 games at home in Asia, winning 22 and drawing four, but Ebrahimzadeh claimed that he was unconcerned about that record and his team will do their best to break it.
Since the second round win over Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, Zob Ahan have been busy in the transfer market and there will be a number of new faces on view for fans in Korea Republic.
Portuguese midfielder Hugo Machado, Iraq international Hawar Mulla Mohammed and Brazilian Felipe Alves have all joined the Esfahan outfit while Mohammad Reza Khalatbari has left for Al Gharafa in Qatar.
After six games of the Iranian Pro League, Zob Ahan sit in fifth place and drew 2-2 with Persepolis on Friday.
"We are starting to find our form in the league at home and are ready for the challenge that lies ahead. We will do all we can to get the win." said Ebrahimzadeh.
