Teymourian made it 5-0 to the Londoners with seven minutes left to play after a stunning eight minute hat-trick from Erik Nevland (60th, 64th and 68th) added to Andy Johnson’s 16th minute opener.
Despite the heavy defeat, striker Eugene Dadi said that Perth Glory are starting to gel ahead of their 2009/10 A-League campaign.
“We’re not quite ready yet but we’re heading in the right direction,” the 35-year-old told the Western Australian club’s official website.
“There was a lot of talking on the park and we still have several weeks to go before the season. There is time to come together as a team and put everything in the right place.
“It was good to be out there and playing against a quality team, a quality club. Unfortunately for the fans, and for us, it wasn’t the right result, but it has been more about gelling together and that is happening.”
In an earlier match at the same venue Robbie Fowler’s first goal for North Queensland Fury was not enough to prevent the A-League newcomers from going down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
