The Top Ten goalkeepers were selected by Goal.com's John Duerden on Monday.
According to the website, the Iranian goalie really came into his own during Iran's failed qualification campaign for South Africa's 2010 World Cup when he was Iran's best player on a number of occasions.
The 26-year-old Rahmati is currently in talks with the Norwegian football club Rosenborg BK. the talks have so far gone well and both sides have reached a preliminary agreement.
Rosenborg Ballklub (RBK) now leads the Norwegian league and is also taking part in the qualification to the new UEFA Europa League. It won 13 consecutive league titles from 1992 and on and took part in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League eleven out of twelve years between 1995 and 2006.
