"Although it is to early to comment on Iran's qualification chances given my short stay in the country, I believe that Iran fully deserves to be in the the World Cup", Rutemöller told the reporters in Tehran.
"Iranian players are in good in physical shape. At the moment our trainings are mostly physically and technically oriented, but we are going to work on tactical issues in the coming days", the ex-DFB head instructor said at the end of today's training session.
Rutemöller who was sitting for the first time on Iran's bench during the friendly match with China, continued:"Team Melli players were dominating the Chinese national team with good conduct throughout the 90 minutes of the game and deservedly won the match."
"We are going to try our best in order to fully benefit from out home advantage against South Korea. There are 5 crucial matches ahead of us and we want to profit from all these point." the 63-year old added.
