Tasnim – Sepahan goalkeeper Payam Niazmand has set a new record in Iran Professional League (IPL).

On Friday, Sepahan and Saipa played out a goalless draw in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium.

Niazmand set a new record by going 895 minutes without conceding a goal, breaking the previous mark set by Esteghlal goalie Hossein Hosseini with 873 minutes.

Sepahan sits top of the table with 18 points, followed by Tractor (17 points) and Shahr Khodro (16 points).

10 matches x 90 mins (which 90 mins= 1 full match)=900 mins. so in other words, 10 straight matches he's not allowed a goal!
