Two European Candidates Finalized for Coaching Team Melli

Team Melli

Tasnim – Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) has reportedly finalized agreement with two European options.

Team Melli is without a coach since parting company with Carlos Queiroz in January.

Now, the sources close to the Iranian football federation say it has reached an agreement with two European coaches.

Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk and French trainer Herve Renard are reportedly nominated to lead Team Melli.

Bert van Marwijk has not coached any team after parting company with Australia.

Renard is currently leading the Morocco national football team.

I think Carlos was a good pick for the last 8 years, and probably not cheap... They need someone like him.

They are not looking for top coaches, 
They just looking for someone cheap,
This government is cheap and stupid and they will lose good people.

Bert VM was just appointed as UAE coach.  Nice job IFF, these guys couldn't court a monkey if they wanted to. Zero structure, zero qualified leadership in the Iranian Federation.
