PlanetFootball - BUNDESLIGA strugglers Arminia Bielefeld have earmarked Iranian international Amin Mohtashami as the player who will spearhead their attack next season. Arminia, who need to win their final league match this weekend to avoid relegation, are desperately seeking strikers to replace incumbents Artur Wichniarek and Momo Diabang, who are due to join Hertha Berlin and Vfl Bochum respectively this summer. Mohtashami has had a terrific season for Paykan Teheran, which included a debut appearance for the Iran national team during the Carlsberg Cup in February. The 24-year-old hit-man is keen on a move overseas, but may prefer to stay at Paykan should Arminia be relegated. |
