Yousefi is an Iranian football commentator and television show host and producer.
He was Iran’s commentator in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia.
Iran’s matches in 1998 World Cup were commentated by Javad Khiabani.
Adel Ferdowsipour and Mazdak Mirzaei were Iran’s commentators in 2006 and 2014 World Cups respectively.
Team Melli has been drawn in Group B along with Morocco, Spain and Portugal.
Iran kicks off its campaign against Morocco in St Petersburg on June 15.
Carlos Queiroz’s men, meanwhile, face Spain in Kazan on 20 June before meeting Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in Saransk five days later.
