Tasnim - Iranian international striker Sardar Azmoun has extended his contract with Russian top-flight football team Rubin Kazan.

He has signed a one-year extension to his Rubin Kazan contract.

Azmoun has returned to Rubin Kazan after his loan spell with Rostov ends.

The Iranian forward had been already linked with Liverpool, Celtic, Sunderland and most recently Italian giant Lazio.

Azmoun scored 12 goals with three assists in 41 competitive games for Rostov this season, while he has 19 goals in 26 senior caps for Iran.

Oh my god .... the best talented players stays in KAZAN !?!?! It has somthing to do with mafia or he is just stupid.... ! there can be no other explanation. What are the facts behind this decision ???? All the koreans and japanese players play in german and englisch top leagues !!! fk that ! and we want to see team Melli reaching the knock out stage !! HA HA HA .... such poor transfer policy we have ! i miss Ali Karimi, Ali Daei and the others who made decision like a MAN ! To develop the progress of playing football on the highest level ! so that we can compete with the european and south american teams ! so that it wiould be possible, after drawing with nigeria, loosing 0:1 to a 94' minutes messi magic, beating a team like bosnia, instead of loosing to a already outplayed team 1:3, and progress to the K.O. stage.
With transfer decisions like this, we will stay in the 2nd grade of international teams, and celebrate the 2:1 victory to US team 1998 like would be the win of the World Cup ! ..... so poor.
