Tasnim - Iran's Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic says that he likes to sign Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo but there is not enough money to buy the player.
Persepolis is favorite to win Iran Professional League under management of Branko Ivankovic this season.
Media reports suggest that the Reds are chasing Brazilian striker Edinho.
“There is not enough money to buy Edinho. The Qatari club Al Sailiya wants one million dollar for its striker but we cannot afford that,” Branko said.
“Personally, I’d like to buy Cristiano Ronaldo but there is not enough money,” the Croat added.
Branko has been asked to explain his team performance against Padideh, he said, “We didn’t perform well against Padideh, however we didn’t deserve to lose and I am satisfied with the draw."
“There is no team in the world playing in the same level always. You see, Arsenal suffered a 4-0 defeat against Southampton last night,” Branko added.
