Tasnim - Iranian international referee Alireza Faghani will leave Tehran on Sunday to officiate a match between Australian Sydney FC and China’s Guangzhou Evergrande on Wednesday.

The match will be held at the Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney in Group H of the AFC Champions League.

Faghani will be assisted by his countrymen Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Reza Mansouri.

He was named as the fourth referee for the opening match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup between Brazil and Croatia.

Faghani also refereed the 2014 AFC Champions League Final first leg match between Al-Hilal and Western Sydney Wanderers.
