Tasnim - Persepolis football team finally earned a victory in the Iran Professional League (IPL), beating Padideh on Friday.

Omid Alishah scored the only goal of the match in the 76th with a header.

It is Persepolis’s first win after the Reds defeated arch rival Esteghlal 2-1 in Tehran derby on November 23.

Elsewhere, Tractor Sazi defeated Saba 3-2 in its away game.

Saman Nariman Jahan opened the scoring for Tractor in the 23rd minute. Brazilian striker Luciano Edinho made it 2-0 from the penalty spot and Andranik Teymourian scored the third goal in the 66th minute.

Hossein Badamaki scored twice for Saba in the 60th and 68th minutes.

Sepahan defeated Foolad 1-0 in Ahvaz. Mehdi Sharifi scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute.

Gostaresh Foolad and Naft Masjed Soleyman played out a goalless draw in Tabriz.
