PFDC - Below you can find comments made by Moharam Navidkia, Sepahan player that was published on Jahane Football newspaper. In the next game when I wear number ten I will play with much gained experience. The defeat in Ahvaz was an eye opener.
Q)
The worst player in week number 11 was NavidKia, what are your
thoughts about that?
A)
I deserved the criticism.
Q)
Do you wish to justify your bad play?
A)
Not by any means. We thought we were untouchables and that cost us.
Q)
What happened? Can you add some details?
A)
If 4 or 5 players had played their usual football we could have
easily won. Only Armenak played well on our side. Q) Was this a bad play on your side or a good performance made by the opponent team?
A)
Yes, they also deserve some credit. They tried hard and won the game
ultimately. As for myself I believe I played hard and performed better than
the average.
Q)
It looked at times that you wanted to get rid of the ball as soon as
you got it, regardless of who would get the ball ultimately?
A)
When you have a bad day these sorts of situations happen.
Q)
Some believe that you should have been substituted?
A)
Only the coach can decide that. I never think that I should always
be the fixed player.
Q)
You mentioned that your team regarded themselves as untouchables. How
much of that do you share personally?
A)
We had defeated both Esteghlal and Persepolis. I am hesitating to
say this but when I was playing against their captain, I was thinking he
should try to cover me. I learned quite some lessons out of this game.
Q)
One positive point about this game was although your team was loosing
the game they did not lost their poise?
A)
Our coach always teaches us to use our god given brain instead of
emotions.
Q)
What do you think about the next match against Fajr Sepasi?
A)
We have to re-organize. Nevertheless there are few things that I
personally should learn.
Q)
What were the reactions of the fans?
A)
They did not expect the loss and naturally were upset. I am hoping
we can make up for this loss this week.
Q)
And what about TM?
A) We
have had three practices so far. We are waiting to see whom Mr. Shahrokhi
will choose ultimately. |
