Shahrokhi appointed head coach of Iran's football team

IRNA - Iran's Federation of Football on Saturday appointed Homayoun Shahrokhi as the head coach of Iranian national team. Prior to this appointment, Shahrokhi was serving as the head coach of Pas of Tehran.
He will take over the helm of Iranian national side in the four-team international tournament scheduled to take place in Hong Kong on February 1-4.
Iran, Denmark, Hong Kong and Uruguay will participate in the tournament.
The assistant to former Head Coach Branko Ivankovic, Hossein Faraki, will continue to serve as the national team's coach.
