Akbarpour will break jinx

PLDC - Alireza Akbarpour, Esteghlal Tehran striker, made various comments on his club and football and other matters, “I went for a few days of leave to Tabriz this week. I returned to Tehran last night and began
practicing today. The ninth week match against Saipa can be a good one as they are one of the tougher teams in the country. Esteghlal is forced to win to rise in the league table. I think it will be a good match.”

“So far this season the chance to score has not arisen for me. I was unlucky enough to miss the few opportunities which presented themselves. I have to break this jinx soon. I was very happy to hear that we will
face Persepolis (11th week match) in Tabriz. Both teams will play better there and they’ll be under less pressure.”

“I think that Persepolis will have a better chance of winning in Tabriz, because the pitch there will be better than the one in Tehran and we’ll play a swifter game. Besides me there are many other fast players in Esteghlal. I hope the weather is not cold there because we may catch colds. I caught a cold there yesterday and I was born there.”
