Karimi and Kazemian both score for Al-Ahli to pull a surprise away win against Al-Ain

PFDC- AL Ahli lead by Ali Karimi & Javad Kazemian who recently joined the club,  came from behind with 10 players to defeat the powerful Al Ain in their formidable stadium and register a shock away win 4-2.

Both Iranian players, Javad Kazemian in his league debut and Ali Karimi scored for Al-Ahli.  Al-Ain scored in the 6th minute, but a penalty 2 minutes later for Al-Ahli made it 1-1.  Before the end of the half, Al Ahli were down to 10 men after defender Mashmoom Juma was red carded for a professional foul , in which Al-Ain scored their second goal.

In the beginning of the 2nd half, Al-Ahli started much more determined and a lovely stint of Al-Ahli passing ended up with Javad Kazemian scoring the equalizer and his first goal for his team.

Ali Karimi, with his usual magic, dribbled couple of Al-Ain defenders to score the third before Faisal Khalil sealed it once for all with the 4th Al-AHli goal.

It was a brilliant result for Al-Ahli, who now lead the table, and a true satisfying day for Kazemian and Karimi which goes a long way to wipe their modest performance in the Asian Championship league defeat against Bakhtakor last week.
