Ghalehnoie is head coach of Esteghlal Ahwaz

PLDC - The new head coach of Esteghlal Ahwaz was formally introduced on Thursday, 21/11/2002, as Amir Ghalehnoie, ex coach of Esteghlal Tehran. Nasrollah Heibodi, Esteghlal Ahwaz chairman commented on this choice after Ghalehnoie began his new job, “We decided to choose Ghalehnoie after lengthy discussions with him and his acceptance of our terms. We have not set a specific length for the contract as yet. Ghalehnoie will be the head coach until the end of this season and we will decide what to do after that. I hope to see the success of the team from this point on.”

Ghalehnoie, who began his new duties immediately, was present for the fifth week match between Esteghlal Ahwaz and Zob Ahan which ended with the 1-10 victory of Esteghlal, on Friday, 22/11. This has apparently  raised hopes for the club, who now stands 12th in the league table above Sanat Naft and Malavan Anzali. The new head coach said that he gave his team the match program and plan on Friday morning, and they carried it out in the same afternoon. He is happy with their performance.
