TEHRANTIMES - Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei is prepared to kiss and make up with the team’s legendary striker Farhad Majidi.

It seems Ghalenoei and Majidi have buried the hatchet.

“We would be glad to see Majidi back to the team. He can help us in the second half of the season. Majidi can retire from football at the end of the season,” Ghalenoei said.

Majidi joined Al Gharrafa on loan last season but he is without a team in the current season.

The 36-year-old joined Esteghlal from Bahman in 1997 and has played for Rapid Wien, Al-Wasl, Al-Ahli and Al-Nasr of the UAE as well.
