TEHRANTIMES - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz said that on Tuesday it’s time to make our World Cup dream come true.
“Now, we are expecting to book a place in the 2014 World Cup. It’s time to make our dream come true. We must make effort to reach our objective,” Queiroz told reporters at the Iran football team’s training in the Azadi Stadium.
“A big task is ahead of us. South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Lebanon are powerful teams who are candidates to advance to the final round,” the Portuguese added.
“Iran will play Albania (May 27) in Istanbul’s training camp and then travel to Tashkent to face Uzbekistan on June 3. I don’t talk Japanese or Chinese. I talk English and I say we have to concentrate on work to go to the next round,” former Portugal coach said.
