PressTV -  Iran’s Premier League defending champion Sepahan has defeated Rah Ahan 3-2 to remain on top thanks to a hat-trick by Brazilian striker Bruno Cesar.

Cesar gave Sepahan the lead nine minutes after the break, but Rah Ahan’s midfielder Hossein Kazemi leveled the game two minutes later at Foulad Shahr stadium on Saturday.

Sepahan’s defender Mohsen Bengar was dismissed in the 67th minute, leaving Zlatko Kranjcar’s side in trouble at home.

However, the Brazilian player scored two more goals in twenty minutes to bring three points for Sepahan. Iman Razaqirad’s injury time goal was useless for Ali Daei’s team.

In Karaj, Teraktorsazi beat Saipa 1-0 to stand in the second place with 52 points behind Sepahan which has 55 points.

In other matches, Naft Abadan defeated Mes Sarcheshmeh 2-0 at home and Mes drew 1-1 with Foulad in Kerman.

On Friday, Persepolis thrashed Naft Tehran 3-0 at Azadi stadium.
