Saeid Daghighi was ineligible, Persepolis official says
PLDC - TEHRAN, Persepolis deputy said that on Wednesday Shahrdari of Tabriz used an ineligible player against them.
Persepolis came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Shahrdari on Monday in Iran Professional League. Saeid Daghighi scored the first goal of Shahrdari from the penalty spot.
“We have documents which show Daghighi was not allowed to play against Persepolis. He had received three yellow cards in his previous matches and according to the rules, was ineligible for the match,” Jamshid Zare said.
