Ghasempour resigns as Damash coach

Tehrantimes - Ebrahim Ghasempour has left his position as Damash coach by mutual agreement on Wednesday.

Ghasempour was appointed coach of the Rasht-based team in September.

The 54-year-old coach said he is forced to leave Damash since the team has financial problems.  

“I am so sorry to leave the team in the situation. I wish them all the best in Iran Professional League,” Ghasempour said.

Damash of Gilan now sits seventh place in the IPL standings table.
