Bargh defeats Esteghlal Ahwaz, 2-1

PLDC - Bargh Shiraz played against Esteghlal of Ahwaz at home on Friday, 25/10/2002, and defeated them with the score of 2-1. The defeat brought with it booing from the Bargh fans and at the same time cheering for their 
club. In an exciting first half, Mansouri of Bargh scored the first goal for his team in the 35th minute. In  adetermined comeback Esteghlal of Ahwaz got the draw on the goal by Khalifehasl in the 37th minute. The first half ended without any further incidents. 

Bargh began the second half on an offensive note and again Mansouri made use of the opportunity offered to him in the 55th minute to get ahead of their guests. From that point on Bargh took a defensive approach to the game and despite repeated efforts by Esteghlal, the result remained the same until the end of the match.

Bargh now occupies 9th place in the league table with one win and one loss and Esteghlal Ahwaz are twelfth with two losses.
