MNA - Persepolis football team fell short against struggling Mes of Kerman in the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.

Persepolis, who returned to the winning ways recently by beating Sepasi and Saba, lost to Mes 1-0 at Kerman’s Bahonar Stadium.

Keyvan Amraei scored the game’s only goal, kicking the ball in the back of the net in the 34th minute.

Persepolis dominated the match in the second half but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal.

Persepolis have moved down to 10th place of the IPL standings and Mes remained in the 17th place.

Shahrdari beat Malavan 2-0 at Tabriz’s Yadegar-e Emam Stadium with goals from Mohammad-Reza Zeynal Kheiri and Mehrdad Ghanbari.

Also, Sanat Naft was held to a 1-1 draw against Shahin of Bushehr.  Hossein Baghlani put the hosts into a lead but Abbas Pour-Khosravani equalized the match in the added times.
