Struggling Mes beat titleholder Sepahan 3-0 at Kerman’s Shahid Bahonar Stadium.
Adel Kolah-Kaj opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and Abolghasem Dehnavi extended the lead five minutes later with a penalty kick. Ahmad Hassanzadeh scored his team’s third goal in the 37th minute.
It’s the first victory for Miroslav Blazevic, Who replaced Samad Marfavi one month ago.
Mes moved one place up to 17th with five points in the IPL standings and Sepahan remained unchanged at the fifth place with 14 points.
