Hamid Derakhshan quits as Shahin coach

MNA - Hamid Derakhshan parted company with Shahin Bushehr football team on mutual consent on Wednesday.

Derakhshan reportedly didn’t attend Shahin training sessions because of his wife's illness in the recent weeks.
“I talked to Shahin’s officials during previous days and agreed to part company with together by mutual consent,” Derakhshan said.

Former Esteghlal coach Firouz Karimi is a candidate to take charge of the Bushehr based team.

Shahin of Bushehr is ninth on the Iran Professional League standing table.
