MNA - Iran Captain Javad Nekounam arrived in Tehran on Monday from Spain and joined the rest of the national squad, which is scheduled to play two games against Palestine and Bahrain.

Last month, the Osasuna midfielder was forced to leave the ground against Qatar in the 2014 World Cup qualifier in Doha after straining his left hamstring.
The Iranian skipper, who featured Osasuna against Real Mallorca on Saturday in La Liga, will play for the Iranian outfit in the two home matches.

Iran is scheduled to play warm-up match against Palestine on October 5 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

Carlos Queiroz team is also scheduled to play Bahrain in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on October 11 at the same stadium.

Iran football team tops the standings in Group E of the FIFA World Cup qualifier, followed by Bahrain.
