MNA - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz said on Sunday that his team is well-prepared to face Bahrain in the 2012 World Cup qualifiers.

Group E leader Iran is scheduled to play Bahrain at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on 11th October.

“Bahrain coach (Peter Taylor) has said he comes here to beat us.  It’s normal, each coach wants to win but we are not scared of them. We will answer them with our performance on the ground,” Queiroz said in a news conference held at the Azadi Sports Complex.

“Bahrain is stronger than Qatar. In the previous edition, they failed to qualify for the World Cup in the last moments. We are going to play a warm-up match against Palestine on Wednesday to prepare for the Bahrain match,” the Portuguese added.
