Saipa rejects Al Shabab offer&nbsp; <img border="0" src="http://www.persianleague.com/images/pic.gif" width="13" height="11">

PLDC - Al Shabab of the UAE had suggested that they should switch Ali Daie (National Team captain and Al Shabab striker) with Javad Kazemian (National Team and Saipa of Tehran player) for a period of two short months. Al Shabab’s suggestion for Kazemian was apparently the sum of $60,000. Saipa on the other hand had considered receiving $200,000 dollars for their upcoming star of football. This was the reason why the contract was not signed in the end.

Javad Kazemian who had gone to Dubai to discuss the matter with Al Shabab officials also expressed disappointment when the contract fell through. Saipa’s refusal of the offer seems reasonable as Ali Daei who 
received a leg injury in the match against Al Ahli last week, has been advised to rest and recover for a minimum period of six weeks.
