MNA - Head of Iran's Transport and Fuel Management Headquarters, Mohammad Ruyanian, has been appointed as Persepolis general manager.

Ruyanian replaced Habib Kashani, who worked in the Iranian team as an acting president from October 2009, on Tuesday.
Minister of Youth and Sports Mohammad Abbasi named Ruyanian as Persepolis GM and he also appointed Lotfollah Foruzandeh Dehkordi, Ali Parvin, Mohammad Panjali and Mohammad-Hossein Nejadfallah as the club’s Management Board.

Persepolis lost to its archrival Esteghlal 2-0 on Friday in Tehran derby that left the most popular Iranian team lingering at the 15th position at the Iran football league table.
