Saba led twice in the first half through Rasool Boreshi and Mohsen Bayat, but Teraktor, who missed out on Asian Champions League qualification by a single point last season, levelled on each occasion thanks to Mohammad Ebrahimi and Gholam Ashoobi. However, Gholamreza Enayati's 78th-minute goal secured all three points for the visitors.
They were one of only two teams to emerge victorious in the opening round of eight games, with Saipa also winning their match against Mes Sarcheshmeh 3-1.
All the goals came in the second half, with Karim Ansarifard and Mehdi Kheiri Mir giving the hosts a 2-0 lead. Ali Samareh pulled a goal back with five minutes remaining, but Ansarifard struck again in the last minute.
There were also late goals as Rah-Ahan and Zob-Ahan drew 2-2 in Shahr-e-Rey. Powerhouse Zob-Ahan led through Hossein Kazemi's 17th-minute own goal, but Omid Alishah equalised on the hour. Jose Marigo Igor restored the visitors' lead, but Rah-Ahan levelled again in the last minute through Alireza Abbasfard.
Perspolis were held 1-1 at home by Malavan, who led through Alireza Daghaghleh's 75th-minute goal only for Hossein Badamaki to quickly hit back. Farzad Hosseinkhani's equaliser ensured the same scoreline for Mes at home to Shahrdari Tabriz, for whom Saeed Daghighi had opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time.
This evening's other three fixtures - Damash against Sanat Naft, Fajr Sepasi against Naft Tehran and Foolad against Shahin - finished goalless.
