Zumdick, who has worked at Bochum, Ghana football team, and Genclerbirligi as coach and Hamburger and Borussia Dortmund as assistant, joined Persepolis on a one-year contract.
“Zumdick has joined us as a top adviser. He will help us in terms of technical issues. Persepolis is well-prepared to have a good season in the Iran Professional League,” Persepolis coach Hamid Estili said.
Persepolis’s arch-rival Esteghlal has already signed German Michael Henke on a two-year contract.
