Iran national team beats Czech club
PTV - Iran's national football team has beaten the Czech Republic's FC Banik Ostrava 3-2 in a friendly match held to prepare Iran for the second round of the 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifiers.
The Iranian squad, which is training in Austria, came back twice from a goal behind to win the Saturday match, IRNA reported.
Mohammad Qazi scored Iran's first goal 30 minutes into the first half.
Ostrava hit back one and 14 minutes after the score.
In the 78th minute, Reza Norouzi's spectacular shoot from behind the penalty area netted the equalizer for Iran. Two minutes later, Pejman Montazeri scored the winner.
The Iranian squad is to leave the Austrian capital of Vienna for Tehran on Monday after 10 days of training.
