Mansouri will play Ardus from Uzbekistan on Sunday in Group B in Doha’s Al-Rayyan Main Hall.
The Iranian team is scheduled to play Lebanese Al-Sadaka and GH Bank RBAC from Thailand on 27th and 28th June respectively.
Group A consists of Al Rayyan of Qatar, Iraqi Al Karkh, Nagoya Oceans of Japan and Chinese Wuhan Dilong.
Top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals to be played on June 30 while the third-place match and the final will be played on July 1.
Iran’s Foolad Mahan Sepahan won the inaugural edition of the championship by beating Qatar’s Al Sadd 5-2 in the final last year.
