Azizi against goodbye match for self

PLDC - Khodadad Azizi, Pas striker (who is refusing to pay for the National Team anymore), has announced his retirement from the National Team formally. The popular striker of Pas said, “When I was young and I could take part in the National Team games, a number of people with bad intentions and unknowingly kept me and others like Karim Bagheri away from it. The main reason for this was of course lack of understanding of football.”

“I now say that the road must be opened to the youth and I ask the Football Federation not to arrange a goodbye match for me. I will be 34 for the 2006 World Cup and not optimistic about Iran there, but I can hope that Iran will appear very strong in the 2010 World Cup.”

“I am sick and tired of side issues in football and I am glad that the people of Iran are kind to me.”
