MNA - Persepolis coach Ali Daei said his team has to beat the UAE’s Al Wahda in the AFC Champions League group stage on Wednesday.

Persepolis lost to Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia 3-1 in its opening ACL match, while Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan was held to a 1-1 draw against Al Wahda in the other group match.
“Al Wahda is a quality team but we need to defeat them. Persepolis lost its first match and now has to beat Al Wahda in its home game,” Daei said in the pre-match news conference.

“In my opinion, all four teams in Group C have the chance to advance to the next stage. But, we are determined to show our real power against the Emirati representative,” Persepolis coach added.
