Dick Advocaat's men arrive in the UAE capital for their first match of 2011 to play an Iranian side still smarting from their recent Asian Cup quarter-final defeat to South Korea.
The match, scheduled for February 9, will feature some of Europe's finest including Arshavin, Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and CSKA Moscow's Alan Dzagoev.
Iran will be looking to bounce back from their disappointment in Qatar with a win against a resurgent Russia side, who missed out on a place at the World Cup finals in South Africa after losing a play-off to Slovenia.
Russia, who recently won the right to host the World Cup in 2018, have impressed since former Rangers and Zenit St Petersburg boss Advocaat took the managerial reins in July last year and will look to put on a show for their fans residing in the UAE.
