Derakhshan believes in Omid Team

PLDC - According to Hamid Derakhshan (Iranian National Youth Team 'Omid' coach), the National Team can become successful in Busan. He said that they had so far played smoothly and had given acceptable performances. It appears that the LG Cup in Tabriz was also of great help to the National Youth team as it gave them more experience.

Derakhshan went on to say that the prescence of Ali Daei with the team will be a great boost to their moral and it will increase the probability of victory for them. The only point criticized was the weakness in the defense line-up, which has to be solved by the team officials and coaches.

Derakhshan added that the matches against Qatar, Lebanon and Afghanistan (in Busan) will not very tough or problematic. He emphasized on the need for awareness and care by the players and that each player should 
play in his own specified post. He ended by wishing the National Team luck and saying that Ivancovic, Iranian National Team head coach had used the best possible formation and tactics so far.
