Bonacic takes charge of Foolad

MNA - Luka Bonacic was named as Foolad of Khuzestan football team coach on Saturday.

The Croat replaced Majid Jalali in the Ahvaz-based team. Bonacic had already worked in Foolad in the Iran Professional League in the 2003-04 season. He will lead the team in the 9th edition of the IPL.

Jalali was sacked following Foolad’s 3-0 loss against Zob Ahan in Iran’s Elimination Cup on Friday.

Bonacic has also led Hajduk Split of Croatia, Iran’s Sepahan and Al-Nasr of the United Arab Emirates.
