Iran to play Palestine and Qatar soccer teams

MNA - Iran’s soccer team has been drawn with Palestine and Qatar in Group A in the fifth edition of the West Asian Football Tournament.
The drawing ceremony was held in Tehran on Tuesday with the presence of Ali Kaffashian, head of Iran’s Football Federation, as well as the tournament’s officials.

Syria, Jordan and Oman were drawn in Group B.

The event will be held in Tehran’s Takhti Stadium from August 7 to 15.

Iran is the most successful team having won three championships out of four.
