Iran's Nekounam Excited About Shojaei Coming To Osasuna

GOAL - Iranian captain Javad Nekounam is looking forward to linking up withy compatriot Masoud Shojaei at Osasuna.

The Spanish club signed Shojaei earlier this week and the new man could line up alongside Nekounam in the middle of the pitch.

Nekounam joined Pamplona outfit in the summer of 2006 and has established himself as a firm favourite with the fans.

“I am enchanted about the idea of playing next to him and I have the intention to help him in every aspect I can. I will help him in his adaptation with the team and with the city” Nekounam told the club’s official website.

“Masoud has a great personality. I had the opportunity to speak to him yesterday. After his conversations with Ziganda and club officials, he knows that Osasuna is a great club and he wants to help us achieve great things” Nekounam added.
