Osasuna sign Iranian midfielder Shojaei

Reuters - Osasuna have signed Iran midfielder Masoud Shojaei on a three-year contract, the Primera Liga club said on Monday.

The 24-year-old international, who has been capped 15 times, spent the last two seasons with United Arab Emirates side Al Sharjah, and moves on a free transfer.

He will link up with Iranian compatriot Javad Nekounam in Pamplona. Osasuna finished 17th in the Primera Liga last season avoiding relegation by a point on the final day.
