Jabbari’s father dies

MNA - Mojtaba Jabbari made Esteghlal champion in the Iran’s League Cup on Monday unaware of his father’s death.
Jabbari Sr. has died due to heart disease at the age of 54. He had died in his home while Jabbari Jr. set up Esteghlal’s first goal and scored the second to secure the Blues’ victory against Pegah of Gilan.

He was laid to rest in the Tehran’s grand cemetery Behesht-e Zahra on Tuesday morning in presence of Esteghlal officials and a great number of football fans.

Jabbari Sr. was a huge football fan who always attended football matches.
