PTV - The head coach of Iran's national soccer team predicts a resounding win for Iran in a World Cup qualifier match against the UAE on Monday.

“Although we missed some friendly matches, the team is in very good physical and mental shape,” said Ali Daei, who went on to predict Iran will 'definitely beat' the UAE.

Daei said the recent visit to the team's training camp by the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had raised the players' spirits, adding that the team will show a good performance against the UAE and make Iranian fans 'happy'.

Iran's national team is to play against the UAE for the 2010 World Cup qualifier match in Tehran's Azadi Stadium at 7:00 p.m. local time on Monday.

Iran is in Group 5 of the Asian World Cup qualifying tournament with Kuwait, Syria and the United Arab Emirates.
