PTV - The coach of the popular Iranian soccer team, Perspolis, Afshin Qotbi, has formally announced that he would leave the club.

The club needs some basic changes which are not possible for the time being, Qotbi said in an interview with Fars news agency on Friday morning.

According to Persepolis' Managing Director, Habib Kashani, Qotbi has said he would not stay in Iran due to some family problems.

The 44-year-old Qotbi worked for the Korean national team as a technical analyst under Dutchman Guus Hiddink and Dick Advocaat.
