AFC- Iran have received an overall ‘B’ from the AFC Pro-League Ad-hoc Committee after their appraisal of this South Asian country’s eligibility for the new AFC Champions League.

Iran, whose clubs play in the AFC Champions League, have received just one ‘B’, the minimum among the 21 assessed countries, and need to ensure that ‘all the clubs are commercial entities under its national law’ by December 15, 2008, to be part of the AFC Champions League next year.

Iran’s Sepahan were runners-up in the 2007 AFC Champions League.
