Iran's Zandi joins Limassol

PTV – The Iranian footballer Fereidoun Zandi has reached an agreement for a 6-month contract with the Cypriot soccer club Apollon Limassol.

According to the contract, Zandi will compete for the team until the end of the season and might stay on for the next season if both management and player are satisfied with the arrangement.

Limassol, a first division team, is currently ranked eighth out of the 14 teams which make up the Cypriot league.

Zandi inked the agreement with the club's officials on Thursday.
