Iran continue reign as top-ranked team in Asia

AFC - Iran slipped two spots down the ladder in the latest FIFA World Rankings for the month of March released on Wednesday but continued to be the top-ranked Asian team in 34th position.

Australia (down 1; 40th), Japan (down 1; 42nd) and Korea Republic (down 4; 48th) were the other Asian teams in the top-50.

Among AFC Asian Cup 2007™ teams, Uzbekistan (down 3; 53rd), Saudi Arabia (down 1; 64th), Oman (up 3; 73rd) and China (up 4; 75th) were struggling to break into the upper echelons.

AFC Asian Cup 2007™ co-hosts Thailand (up 6; 120th), and Yemen (up 6; 137th) were the biggest movers this month while Lebanon (down 8; 132nd) and India (down 8; 165th) slid down the rankings.

در آخرين رده‌بندي برترين تيم‌هاي ملي فوتبال جهان كه امروز چهارشنبه توسط فدراسيون بين‌المللي فوتبال (فيفا) اعلام شد، تيم ملي فوتبال ايران با۷۰۵امتياز و دو پله سقوط، در مكان سي و چهارم جهان قرار گرفت.

به‌گزارش روزچهارشنبه سايت فيفا، تيم ملي فوتبال كشورمان درجمع تيم‌هاي آسيايي در صدر ايستاده و تيم‌هاي استراليا و ژاپن به ترتيب در مكان‌هاي بعدي قرار دارند.
