Italy overcomes Iran at futsal friendly

MNA – Europe’s holder Italy overcame the seven-time Asian champion Iran at a futsal friendly 2-0 in Bari Saturday.

Supported by home fans, Italy dominated the match, but it found the net just twice through skipper F. Grana.

Grana beat the in-form keeper Mostafa Nazari in the 19th minute from close range.

He made it 2-0, converting a penalty kick on 25 minutes.

Iran plays its second friendly Sunday.
